Jackson gets his first haircut!!!!!!!

Doesn't he look great! My best friend, Christi, cut his hair for me. She has 3 boys so plenty of experience! He looks even more like Matt now with his fresh cut!

Opposite in every way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My girls obviously look opposite. They are so opposite in EVERY way. I took Matti to the doctor today because she has been complaining off and on about her ears hurting. She hasn't had a fever or missed a beat, she has just mentioned it here and there. I thought I better just check this out. I honestly thought she might just have water on her ear like swimmers ear. Turns out she has double ear infections and her right ear drum has burst. OK, don't you think we should of had some nights up screaming and constant crying over this. Nope, she has just mentioned it and went on. I felt horrible. I took her to get a milkshake after and have been spoiling her all night.
The reason I mentioned opposite is because Stacey on the other hand will cry and scream over a cough or bump. Bless her heart if she has to throw up, she fights it and screams.
They are just so opposite. We enjoy their differences and are amazed by them!

Matti gets to play basketball this year. We had a meeting about it last night so she is excited. We were practicing tonight and it was hilarious. Let's just say she is looking more like a Wininger in her skills than a Hall. LOL! Matt is going to coach them again, and the girls are going to be on the same team. This is Stacey's last year in this age bracket.

Shopping with Stacey!!!

Today I got Stacey early from school to do some clothes shopping. The girl is outgrowing EVERYTHING!! We started at one of her favorite girly stores and found great deals on the clearance racks! I normally just go out and buy her clothes, but she has all of a sudden come to this age and shopping sounds fun to her. While we were walking back to our car she sweetly looked at me and said, "Mommy this is so much fun, thank-you!" We met Matt for lunch at Stacey's favorite, Cracker Barrel. There Matt bought her and Matti a Webkin. Then we headed to the mall!!All the while Jackson is enduring our shopping in his stroller. He did great as long as I kept the snacks coming. Stacey did not want me in the dressing room, she wanted to get her outfits on and come out and show me. She was so cute!! Then it was off to pick up Matti from school because I had her stay the whole day today! One reason I took Stacey on this outing is because I get Matti everyday at noon and we do fun stuff regularly. Also, as her mommy I sense when she needs time and I think she did. It is really strange her getting so big. She is so helpful! What a blessing!!! I love you Stacey, and I had a wonderful day!

The girls have been begging for a puppy for quite sometime and I keep telling them they have one.

Valentine Parties and a nice week

I am just combining some pics of the week and pics of the Valentine parties at school. We have had beautiful weather this week, mostly in the 60's. I took Matti and Jackson to the park on Monday. On Tuesday we went to the library and the girls checked out some books. I also posted pics of them riding bikes. It seems like I don't have time to blog about daily things so I just throw them out it a lump when I can. Even now as I type Jackson is at my feet fussing for me, now we can't let our baby boy, our only son fuss:) He is rotten and we can't help it!

Update on Stacey

I took Stacey to the doctor today. She has tonsilitus sp? and strep throat. Poor girl:( Anyways, we have her on antibiotics and should see an improvement by tomorrow.

I miss Matt!!!!!!!

Matt is working this whole weekend! That doesn't happen too often. Anyways, I miss that boy. He will be home in about 45 minutes and I can't wait. He won't be home long and then he will be going to church. Stacey has gotten a little worse. She is running a temp. of 102. So, I am thinking strep. We shall see! I really want to post some pics tonight if I get a chance.
We are recording the superbowl. When Matt gets home he will watch it from the beginning, but he'll be able to fast forwardect... I made him his fav. buffalo wing dip. So, football or whatever I am going to enjoy sitting on the couch with him tonight and snuggling:)

Stacey is sick

Today as I was getting ready for church Stacey complained about her throat hurting. I got her a drink because that is usually all she needs, but it still hurt. So, about 20 minutes before we were ready to walk out the door for church she came to me crying about it hurting. I looked in her throat and the left side was huge and red. Matt is working today, he also worked yesterday, so I called him to let him know we were not going to church. Hopefully this day at home to rest will be all that she needs. I was planning on taking the kids to the park after church and lunch today. It is supposed to be in the sixties and we are getting cabin fever. Yesterday was nice too and we walked around our lake. I will get Matti out to ride her bike today. She is doing so well. I will post some pics of her riding later once I get on my other computer. ( Matti is hogging it right now:)
