The girls were both voted to be homecoming queen for their classes. Last night was the big night and they looked beautiful!!!!!!

My dad's birthday party

Tonight we celebrated my dad's 57th birthday. We went out to eat, and then went back to his house where he and Matt, my husband, played golf on the Play Station 3. They are very competative with each other. The last time they played dad won and tonight Matt won.

I also have a very sweet story about today. We met Matt at the mall for lunch, and when we were finished we took Matti to the play area at the mall. I told Matt we should stand Jackson up to the toys and let him hold on. So, Matt took Jackson over and Jackson was in heaven standing holding on to these toys like a big boy. The sweetest thing was Matt's face. He was glowing like crazy. I couldn't help but remember last year about this same time being at the mall in the play area with Matti and Matt. I was pregnant, but we did not know what we were having and we just kept pointing out all the cute little boys to each other. Today was so sweet seeing my two guys:) I just thanked God right there for being sooooooo good to us!! I did not have my camera:(

Shopping for homecoming dresses!

We went shopping Saturday for the girls homecoming dresses. Really, Matti already had a gorgeous dress, but we were getting Stacey a new one and we felt bad not to get Matti a new one. My big mistake was not just going by myself and getting what I wanted. Stacey protested about anything fancy. I told her the whole idea of homecoming was to be fancy. We finally agreed on a dress, it is pretty and fancy enough,but there were others that I liked better. Matti got a pretty one too. I still like the one we already had better. I am afraid this is just the beginning of struggles with my sweeties and what they want to buy. These pics are of the happy moments before shopping.

Jackson says BALL

Jackson has said bo-bo -bo-bo for a while now. The other day Matt was showing him his ball and saying ball to him, and now Jackson says bo. Not bo-bo-bo like when he is babbling, but bo when he sees his ball. Imagine a Hall saying ball as his first word.

Stacey plays the piano

Today Stacey played the piano for her class while they sang in chapel. She did an excellent job!!!
